Affiliate Disclosure
HostingWinList participates in affiliate programs. Here's what that means in plain terms.
What affiliate links are
Some links on this site — typically the provider-name links in our guides — are affiliate links. If you click one and purchase a service, HostingWinList may earn a commission. This costs you nothing extra; you pay the same price as going to the provider directly.
Which providers
We may earn commissions from providers we cover, including (but not limited to) RackNerd, Contabo, BuyVM, Netcup, Hetzner, OVH, and others, through their direct programs or affiliate networks. Not every provider we mention has an affiliate program, and we cover providers regardless of whether they pay us.
Our commitment
- Affiliate relationships never change our assessments. If a provider blocks port 25, we report it. If their AUP prohibits a use case, we say so. Every policy restriction and caveat stays in regardless of affiliate status.
- We recommend against providers we could earn from when the data warrants it, and recommend providers we earn nothing from when they're the right answer for the use case.
- We don't rank by commission. Our guides rank by use-case fitness — which provider actually lets you do what you need.
FTC compliance
In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines, we disclose that this site contains affiliate links and that we may be compensated for purchases made through them.
